Michael Vick should he be given a second chance to play in the NFL?
Lloyd asked:
Michael Vick who was tried, convicted, sentenced, served eighteen months in Federal Prison and lost One Hundred Thirty Million Dollars over the entire issue. Should he be given a second chance to play in the NFL? Why?

yeah, he’s done enough time….
Sure the man has served his time. That said I will not watch a game that the man plays in.
nah he is just in it for the money he really does not try any more. sure he started in the NFL with a bang but then he just went down hill he should be kept as a back up QB
NO!!! he definately shouldn’t be given a second chance! Its totally unfair that he A CRIMINAL can get a job like a football player making MILLIONS of dollars…when ANY OTHER CRIMINAL probably couldn’t even get a job at all…like if he tried to get a job at a supermarket he probably wouldn’t even get it.
Absolutely not.
Vick beat and SOTOMIZED dogs! We all have bad moments but is this a person young people should look up to?
No he shouldn’t O.J got a second chance (well he was found not guilty for some reason) and he went off robbing someone. So micheal vick is probably going to continue watching dog fights. or some other stupid crap like that.
He should not be given that opportunity again. He already received a gift by being genetically equipped for sports. He threw that away by being a reprehensible person. People in many other professions don’t get a second chance if they are convicted of a crime – think Dr., nurse, real estate agents, fire fighters, teachers. He should have to work on a loading dock or in a field somewhere. He blew it.
Yes he should be allowed to play but he should also give a portion of his salary to the abused animal foundation or similar charity
If he played for my home-town team, I wouldn’t go watch… I doubt many others would either.
yeah he should be aloud to play. but not soon as possible he should get at least a 6 game exception. because what he did was really bad and this is his punishment
Sure, If someone wants to hire him. Personally, I would boo every time i saw him or heard his name, and i guess a lot of teams may be reluctant to hire him because of that. I’m not saying that just as a dog lover. I know a lot of people who prefer cats or other animals that also **** his guts for murdering innocent animals. Just saying… Although, yes he has paid in many ways, I still don’t like him.
No one ever had to fine me 130 mil and send me to prison for me to know it’s wrong to kill animals. The man is evil on the inside.
Samantha..Michel Vick didn’t kill the dogs for food. He killed them because it pleased him to do so. Its a completely different thing.
No. He’s human garbage.
Yes, he committed a crime and was convicted and punished. He is not applying for Section 8 or Unemployment but trying to do a job he is good at. We kill animals all the time to eat his only crime was in the level of cruelty used.
If you **** animal cruelty that much cut out the meat- have you seen how they treat innocent animals in slaughterhouses?
Yes most defiantly. He paid his debt to society, in more ways then one. According to some of your responses you would think we lived in Communist China. Many athletes have committed crimes from felony domestic violence, drugs, manslaughter and murder. All given a second chance and some a third, fourth and on and on. Whats the problem some white people having a hard time with daily life because a black man makes so much money. Get over it. The NFL is all about money and he spells money, they can care less about ****** views. People still have OJ on their mind and he was retired from the NFL at the time of the murders. All examples have been of black players when many white players committed horrible crimes and were re instated to pro sports. Unreal!
He has done his time and he feels guilty about it, lets move on. It amazes me that only in United States it seems that dog’s life is more precious than human being. Pres. Bush and his gang killed thousands of innocent people and no one voiced their opinion this strongly to that massacre.
