Where can I find a Fantasy Football Keeper league that will be competitive and stay around?

Brandon asked:

I play fantasy baseball and football. Perform reasonably well at both. But, stay very active in any league I join. Been playing since ‘99. Sooo, where can I find a keeper league to take me in?

That’s the hard part. You need to find a core group close to you and make a league. Sometimes, leagues will show how long they’ve been around. Most are one and done. Very few hang for a long time.

if you know enough people then it sounds like you have enough interest to start your own and be commisioner. if you don’t know enough people then i don’t know. i joined all of mine through friends i know.

Go on the ESPN posts and they will have alot saying, one more spot for competive keeper league. They will show you a site and then they will give you a invite

My 12 team keeper league is entering our 11th season. We protect our entire 21 man roster every season.

As was mentioned previously- you’ll probably need to start one around a core group of friends. After that you’ll need a strong but fair comissioner who can organize the draft every year, maintain financial records and rosters at the seasons conclusion and lead conversations regarding rule changes.

Owner changes will be inevitable. Of our original owner’s, only 4 have been around for all 11. You’ll need to expell some owner’s who won’t commit to the participation level that a keeper will require, some will quit, but there will always be somebody who wants in on your league. We currently have a waiting list.

Fleaflicker.com is about as good of a site for keeper football leagues.
