What is the difference between Sprint series and Nationwide in Nascar?
I’m brand new to nascar and I might go to the race next weekend but I have no idea what the differences in these series are… Can somebody explain this to me?
The cars are different, Cup have COT cars, Nationwide have the old cars.

The cup cars are now a different car all together, and the competition is like for example: The Major leagues in baseball compared to the minor leagues of baseball.
Again, now with the car difference, you can tell that way also.

Nationwide has a smaller wheelbase and different rear end Ratios. The engines Produce less Horsepower and the Nationwide Series Uses the Old Style of Car. The Sprint Cup uses the COT!!!!!!!!!

The cars are different.
The Sprint Series is like Major League Baseball, while the Nationwide Series is like AAA. Although unlike baseball alot of the Major League players run the AAA races.
Nationwide Series tickets will be cheaper and easier to get but you won’t see all the stars race.

The difference is, France owns the COT (Crap of Today). He made it to where everyone has to drive his sh!t, line his pockest and give Toyota a chance. It has made the cup series, a snooze fest, the cars slower and all for money. The Nationwide series, still runs the old cars. NASCAR has made them put restricters on them to make them slower then the COT because those car run the tracks faster. Either way, this is a boring year for NASCAR. But as long as people are paying France to watch the garbage races this year, nothing will change. BRING BACK THE OLD CARS!!!
