Should the Boston Celtics be afraid of LeBron James & The Cavs when the playoffs start?

-__- asked:

1) Cavs forced the series to go to 7 games last year in the Conference Semi-finals.

2) LeBron never gave up in that game 7, Cavs almost came back. He was attacking and attacking. 45 points.

3) The Celtics do not have James Posey, P.J. Brown, or Sam Cassell anymore. Makes a big difference.

4) There’s a very good chance that both teams will meet again in the playoffs …

The Celtics will have reason to be afraid of the CAVs, if they meet during the playoffs. One reason is the health of the aging Garnett and Allen. Garnett is unable to play now and the teams can’t afford to lose him at any time during the playoffs.

1) the Cavaliers forced the series to go to 7 games because Ray Allen was struggling really, really badly. he was missing wide open shots.

2) same for Paul Pierce, he scored 41 points in that game.

3) i’m slightly worried. that’s why the Celtics need Joe Smith and Stephon Marbury.

Afraid is probably the wrong word. They’ll have to be aware that they almost lost the series last year, especially if they don’t get the home court, since the home team won all 7 games in the series last year.

On the other hand, don’t forget that Boston also went 7 games against the freaking 37-45 Atlanta Hawks, and 6 games against the Pistons. Boston didn’t really hit their stride until the finals, possibly because that was the first playoffs their big 3 had played together in. If the Celtics start the playoffs playing the same way they played against the Lakers, I think they’ll be much better in the early rounds.

I thnk boston celtics should be afraid of King James now because he is better now. The only team which does not need to worry about James is the Lakers. They have Kobe!!!

Yes and only for 1 reason….

The series would most likely be another LeBron James Love Fest with the refs giving him every non-call.

I still remember last year… James drives, no contact, stuffed by KG, foul called.

If the game is called fairly, C’s win easily in 5. Otherwise… ugh… Let’s not even think about it.
