He’s got to win 6 championships to even be considered in Jordan’s league. Your friend doesn’t know what they are talking about (and probably never watched Jordan in his prime). Sure, LeBron is great but he hasn’t done sh-t yet. Jordan, as of right now, is much, much better. Nobody comes close.

At this point in both of their careers….i would of sed LeBron is better because we all kno that Michael took 7 years to make it to his first NBA finals….and we cant judge Michael and Lebron yet because LeBron hasnt had a full career….LeBron might not win as many titles as Michael did….but all around….LeBron is better… Michael did these three things…shoot,steal, and dunk…..LeBron can shoot….steal…..dunk…..assist….rebound….u name it….Plus…Michael had great guys around him to help….LeBron really doesnt have a guy like Scottie Pippen to help him out….so give him props….at the end of LeBron’s career….i think he will be better than Michael

Honestly As Far as right Now I would Have to Say Lebron Is putting up better Numbers than Jordan did at this point in his Career and plus not to mention it took Jordan Longer to reach the Finals than it did Lebron, Who knows what Lebron’s Legacy may end up like when it’s all said and done but right now Lebron is on pace to being as great if not greater than Jordan!

It’s amazing to me how quick we want to label someone the next MJ or quickly proclaim someone to be BETTER than Jordan. The fact is, no one can hold a candle to Michael now or anytime soon. Not only did he win 6 championships (a number that would have surely been higher had he not retired the first time or been pushed out the second time by Jabba the Krause).

LeBron is a fine player and it’s scary to think how good he will be when he’s in his 30’s.. Kobe is an amazing player himself – but neither of them .. or anyone else in the NBA are on Michael’s level. If you don’t believe me turn on ESPN Classic sometime or pick up a Bulls DVD. The guy was one special player..

MJ, He has much more experience and Lebron has only been in the NBA for a few years, and look how many titles MJ has won. But Lebron has skills.

Jordan by far at this point in his career and after this point. Lebron didn’t go to college Jordan did. So at this point in his career Jordan was just getting to the league but he was doing things nobody had ever seen before.

Lebron has done nothing but taken his team to the finals, which is a great accomplishment, but Jordan was clowning at 22.

To answer this question fairly to Lebron I would say ‘At 22 yrs old’ Lebron is a far better team player I mean look his team is in the NBA finals and he does not have a great supporting cast.
Of course he has a mountain to climb before he reaches Jordan’s level but really no one has been fair to Lebron. Did everyone say when Jordan was 22 that he is a wannabe Dr J? and that he cannot walk in his shadow, well what do they say now about Mike?
The only fair way is to wait 12yrs for Lebron to retire to see who was better and its not by rings.
